Isa sa privilege ng mga residents ay ang pagkakaroon ng outdoor activity. They can either play badminton or basketball; and yung nakita ko sa list ng program ng mga residents is they can also do gardening. Pero eversince nag-start ako ng practicum dito sa LCRC, wala pa akong nakikitang resident doing gardening stuff. I noticed one of the residents while on outdoor activity. Most often, kapag nasa loob sya ng session hall, he is either sitting, looking himself in the mirror or natutulog. Pero kapag nasa outdoor sya, he smiles a lot and gumagalaw-galaw sya. I think the sunshine's doing some good to him.
Every Thursday, I'm really looking forward sa worship service with Pastor Paul. This is my most loved part of the week wherein I get to have my spiritual tank filled. Kasama na din yung lively worship music. Buti nalang laging malakas yung sounds and kumakanta lahat ng mga residents kaya hindi napapansin yung boses ko. :)
I think the residents are enjoying the worship service as much as I do.
Later this day, they are about to watch the movie "I am Sam". I already watched this movie and I find it good that is why I don't think watching it again for the second time is a bad thing. However, when we informed the residents about this, they complained that they already watched this many times over. Ok. I don't get to watch again the movie..Sayang. Pero syempre, para sa kanila naman talaga yung movie watching so I don't have the right to contest. Ayun. Nauwi kami sa "My Best Friend's Wedding". Sakto lang yung movie pero most of the lines hindi ko masyado maintindihan. Medyo mahina kasi ako mag-comprehend pag slang na.
The residents enjoyed the movie (ok, only some of them.). Nakakatuwa kasi may mga residents na nagrereact kapag kinda romantic (or should I say cheesy) na yung moments.."aaahhhhh".
Siguro kinikilig..Hahah.
After ng activities with them, we started doing the program for the culminating activity the next day. Gumawa kami ng awards for chosen residents na nanalo sa mga games through out the week. We welcomed change this time hahah!! and we discovered something great - colored sand is so much better than glitters.. :)
Happy "Winner Days" everyone!
